BUMPstyle Box is a chic maternity boutique delivered to your door. Your personal BUMPstylist hand-selects pieces you will love based upon your style preferences. We give you the fun of shopping and remove all the hassle, so you receive the ultimate shopping experience all in one box—wrapped in a bow, of course!

How does it work?

BUMPstyle Box delivers maternity and post-partum clothing and accessories to your door either as a one-time shipment or as a monthly subscription. Each box is uniquely styled for you by your personal BUMPstylist. Here’s how you do it:

  1. Create a style profile

To begin, create your BUMPstyle Box profile. Your profile will help your BUMPstylist better get to know you: your sizing, likes and dislikes, and personal preferences.

  1. Select a ship date

Choose the date you would like your box to ship. On the day your box ships, you will be e-mailed the USPS tracking number of your box so that you can track its progress. Note that shipping time varies from state to state.

What is better than receiving clothing handpicked for you, delivered for you to try on in the comfort of your own home? Nothing, in our opinion! Your BUMPstylist will include a detailed inventory list and a handwritten note with suggestions on how to style the clothing in your box.

  1. Keep what you like and return the rest

Within 3 business days of receiving your box, simply pack the items you do not wish to keep, apply the enclosed prepaid return label, and ship your box back to us via USPS.

Our BUMPstylists love to hear about your experience, and what you loved or didn’t love! Complete the checkout questionnaire, or email your BUMPstylist any feedback. This will help her learn more about you and continue to improve her selections for your future boxes!

Each box contains a variety of six to eight hand-selected items, such as dresses, pants/jeans, shoes, and accessories, along with a handwritten note from your BUMPstylist. In her note, she will explain how to wear each outfit, so there is no guessing and no stress. Your BUMPstylist is with you every step of the way!

If you absolutely love certain designers or styles, let your BUMPstylist know. If you have specific budgetary concerns, tell hershe wants to know all of these details so that she can style the best possible box for you.

Styling Fee

On the day your box ships, you will be charged a $30 styling fee. This fee is credited towards your purchase if you spend more than $150.

Style Profile

How do I fill out my style profile?

The goal of your style profile is to share your style needs and preferences in detail, enabling your BUMPstylist to select the perfect looks for you. Be as accurate as possible with your sizing and other information when completing your style profile. If you are unsure about your sizing, please include your measurements in the section provided. Consider providing additional details about yourself and what you are looking for in the “comments” section of your style profile—this further helps your BUMPstylist get to know you and create the best box for you! If you have a Pinterest or Instagram account, we recommend providing your handle or a link to a specific style board.

Can I request specific items?

Yes, you can request for a certain item to be included in your box if you particularly like a style you have seen posted on our social media. Because we do have such a rapid turnover rate, we cannot guarantee that the exact item will be included, but we will try our best! In addition, please include specific details of styles you would like to see. This way if the item you requested is not available, your BUMPstylist can include a similar style or color.

How do I update my style profile?

Why do I need to share my social media information?

It is not required that you share a social media handle with us, but we always strongly suggest sharing your Instagram and/or a Pinterest handle with us, if you have either. Allowing your BUMPstylist to view your “style” board on Pinterest or glance at your pictures on Instagram only helps her continue to get to know you and improve the quality of your box. Even if you haven’t previously been a “Pinner,” consider starting a Pinterest account and creating a style board to share with your BUMPstylist so you can easily share pictures of your current style crushes with her. If your social media account is set to private, you will receive a request from BUMPstyle Box to follow you prior to your box shipping so your BUMPstylist can view your pins and pictures.

Which sizes do you style?

We currently offer sizing between 0(XS)-14(XL). This range refers to your pre-pregnancy size. We are hoping to expand our size range in the future.

How do I determine my size?

The million dollar question! The majority of size-related questions on the style profile reference your current size. If you have recently purchased or tried on maternity clothing, let us know the size that currently best fits you. Or, if you have measuring tape nearby, you can include your measurements in the section provided in your style profile—your BUMPstylist is well-versed with the sizing of the brands we carry and can translate from measurements to apparel sizes. If you don’t have measuring tape, or if you are very recently pregnant (1st trimester) and have not yet tried on maternity clothing, include your most recent pre-pregnancy sizing. The majority of the clothing we carry is meant to correspond with your pre-pregnancy size—meaning, if you were a medium prior to your pregnancy, in most of our lines you would currently be a medium, as well.

If you are still concerned with the accuracy of your sizing, not to worry! Just let your BUMPstylist know in the comments sections that you are unsure of your current size and concerned that the sizing information you provided may be inaccurate. Your BUMPstylist will then be able to consult with you prior to your box shipping to ensure that she best understands where your body currently is as you are growing through your pregnancy.

When will my BUMPstylist contact me?

Once you have completed your style profile and submitted your shipment date, you will then be assigned a personal BUMPstylist who will be available to style you throughout your pregnancy. You can expect to hear from her the week before your box is scheduled to ship.

We know that you are so excited to meet your BUMPstylist, so why must it take so long!? Once your style profile has been submitted, we want to pair you with the perfect BUMPstylist for you. As a new client, it takes up to 48 hours for your style profile to be assigned to the right BUMPstylist. But do not worry, it will be worth it! Once your BUMPstylist has received your style profile, she will then contact you by email to introduce herself while she is already fast at work reviewing your style profile and dreaming up fabulous looks for you.

How do I contact my BUMPstylist?

If you are a new customer, you will be assigned a BUMPstylist within 2 business days of submitting your style profile and shipment date. You can contact her by replying to her email—save her email in your address book so you can send her an email anytime. If you would like to speak with her over the phone, just send her an email requesting a time to talk, or call our general number at 866-529-6331.

How do I leave feedback for my BUMPstylist?

You can leave your BUMPstylist feedback by filling out the order completion survey through your online BUMPstyle Box profile. To provide additional comments and feedback, you also have the option of emailing her directly or speaking over the phone. Your BUMPstylist is always happy to discuss your style and listen to your feedback. If you wish to set up a phone conversation, email your BUMPstylist and you can set up the perfect time with her. 

Inside My Box

What types of items can I expect to receive?

We customize each client’s box, so items selected will always reflect the tastes specified in your style profile. For example, if you tell us that you do not wear dresses, we will not send you dresses. Aside from any preferences you list, you can expect items such as dresses, pants, denim, skirts, shirts, sweaters, jackets, and leggings. We also stock a broad selection of accessories such as scarves, jewelry, and shoes, as well as other maternity-specific accessories that are often included in boxes based upon the client’s style needs and preferences.

Nursing Boxes and 4th Trimester Boxes include clothing items and accessories designed for nursing accessibility (if you are nursing). For those not nursing, we provide many clothing and accessory options to assist you in transitioning your wardrobe back to non-maternity clothing as your body is healing and returning to its pre-pregnancy self.

What kind of brands can I expect?

BUMPstyle Box sources a wide variety of brands and designers to ensure you are always receiving the best clothing options for your style and price point.

We pride ourselves in offering a diverse array of maternity styles, from our favorite classics to on-the-verge designers. Discovering the best up-and-coming brands and matching them to our clients is our passion! In addition to our extensive collection of maternity styles, we are always on the hunt for the best brands. To keep our inventory on the cutting edge, we even carry many non-maternity brands that offer a great fit even while you are pregnant. As we work closely with non-maternity designers and brands that you already love pre-baby bump, we are able to find pieces in their collections that work both during and after pregnancy so you can get the most wear out of your favorite pieces.

What is a “Nursing Box” or “4th Trimester Box”?

Nursing Boxes and 4th Trimester Boxes are styled to help you with your particular needs post-partum.

For non-nursing mamas, 4th Trimester Boxes provide clothing and accessory options to assist you in transitioning your wardrobe back to non-maternity clothing as your body is healing and returning to its pre-pregnancy self.

For nursing mamas, our Nursing Boxes include nursing-compatible clothing and accessories to simplify nursing throughout your busy day while also helping you transition back to your pre-pregnancy wardrobe.

Can I request a Nursing Box or 4th Trimester Box only?

Yes, you can! If you are new to BUMPstyle Box and have already had your baby, but are still in need of some transition items or nursing-friendly pieces, we would love to style you. You do not need to have previously worked with us.

To order a Nursing Box, simply click “yes” to nursing when you are creating your style profile. At the bottom of your style profile, tell your BUMPstylist you are currently nursing and would like to receive a Nursing Box.

If you are a nursing mom who would like to receive a 4th Trimester Box instead, click “no” to nursing when you are creating your style profile, and at the bottom of your profile specify in the comments section that you would like a 4th Trimester Box.

Scheduling Your Box

How do I schedule a box?

To schedule a box, first create a BUMPstyle Box profile. You will see a calendar with ship dates. Select your desired ship date. This date is the date your box ships from our offices—it is NOT the delivery date. If you selected to receive a box monthly, your BUMPstylist will automatically ship your box on the same date each month. While you can cancel a monthly subscription at any point in time without any cancelation fees, we cannot refund the styling fee or cancel the shipment once the box has already shipped.

How do I switch to a monthly subscription?

If you are an existing BUMPstyle Box customer who has previously scheduled boxes one at a time but would now like to transition to a monthly box, simply schedule your box as you usually would and check the monthly option found directly below the ship date calendar. Your box will ship each month on the date you have selected.

How do I pause my monthly subscription?

To pause your monthly subscription, simply email or call your BUMPstylist prior to your next ship date to let her know that you would like to pause the next shipment. If pausing by email, you should receive a confirmation from your BUMPstylist within 24 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation, please email info@bumpstylebox.com or call 866-529-6331. Note: you must notify us of a shipment pause at least 24 hours prior to your next box’s ship date. Boxes that have already shipped cannot be refunded or paused once they are in transit to you.

How do I cancel my monthly subscription?

To cancel your monthly subscription, simply email or call your BUMPstylist prior to your next ship date to let her know that you would like to cancel your subscription. Remember to cancel at least 24 hours prior to your next box’s ship date if you do not wish to receive that box, as boxes that have already shipped cannot be canceled or refunded once they are in transit to you. If canceling by email, you should receive a confirmation from your BUMPstylist within 24 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation please email info@bumpstylebox.com or call 866-529-6331.

Is there are fee for canceling a monthly subscription?

There is no fee to cancel your monthly subscription. You may pause or cancel a monthly subscription with no penalty to you. Requests to pause or cancel a box must be made at least 24 hours prior to the box’s ship date, as boxes that have already shipped cannot be refunded or intercepted.

How do I reschedule my box’s ship date?

To reschedule your box, email or call your BUMPstylist requesting that your current scheduled shipment be moved to another date. She will then check her schedule and confirm the box’s rescheduled date.

Can I cancel a shipment for a box I already scheduled?

You may cancel a shipment up to 24 hours prior to the box’s ship date by contacting your BUMPstylist or calling 866-529-6331. Once the box has shipped, it cannot be refunded or intercepted.

Shipping

Standard Shipping

BUMPstyle Box covers the cost of shipping your box to you via USPS, as well as the cost of return shipping if needed. All returns must be sent through USPS using the prepaid return label included in your box.

Expedited Shipping

Our boxes are sent to you via USPS priority mail, but expedited shipping options may be available for a fee if you wish, depending on the timeframe and your location. Boxes already in transit cannot be expedited. Inquire at 866-529-6331.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to all 48 states within the continental U.S.

How do I track my box?

On the day your box is shipped, you will receive an email from USPS with the tracking number. USPS will send additional emails to notify you of any delays in the shipping process.

There is a problem with my shipment.

If there is a problem with your shipment, please let your BUMPstylist know, or contact customer service at 866-529-6331 or info@bumpstylebox.com.

How do I ship my box back? What does it cost?

Simply place the items you want to return back in the BUMPstyle Box, attach the enclosed prepaid USPS return label to the outside of the box (over the original shipping label), add some tape to seal it, and drop it off at your nearest post office location. There is no fee to return your BUMPstyle Box.

What is the timeframe for returns?

You have 3 full business days upon receiving your box to try on your clothing and decide which items you wish to keep and which, if any, you will be returning. We do not accept additional returns once you have shipped your box back, so please make sure you that have tried on each item before returning your box.

If your return box is not in transit within the 3 day period, we assume that you are keeping the entire selection, so you will be charged for the full box the following week. We do not allow for additional returns or refunds once your box has been charged.

I do not see a return label in my box.

If you did not receive a return label or cannot find it, please email info@bumpstylebox.com and one will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

Customer Service

I contacted info@bumpstylebox.com and/or my BUMPstylist. When should I expect a reply?

We strive to answer all email inquiries within 24 hours. We can also be reached by phone Monday–Friday, 9pm–5pm(CT) at 866-529-6331. Please do not hesitate to email or call us with any questions you may have. Your personal BUMPstylist’s email and phone number is included at the bottom of her email, as well as on the item sheet you will receive inside of your box.

Is there a fee?

A $30 styling fee is charged on the day that your box ships. If the items you choose to keep from that box total $150 or more, the styling fee is applied as a credit and deducted from your total purchase. If the items you choose to keep total less than $150, or if you return your box in full, the $30 styling fee is not credited back.

What timeframe do I have to return my unwanted items?

The best person to contact for providing feedback is your personal BUMPstylist. You can leave your feedback by completing the order completion survey through your online BUMPstyle Box profile. To provide additional comments and feedback, you also have the option of emailing your BUMPstylist directly or speaking over the phone. Your BUMPstylist is always happy to discuss your style and feedback! If you wish to set up a phone conversation, email her and you can set up the perfect time.

I received a damaged item in my box.

While we strive to provide you with exceptional clothing in pristine condition, sometimes an imperfect item slips past us or is damaged during the shipping process. If you have received a damaged item, contact your BUMPstylist or customer service as soon as possible. If your BUMPstylist is unavailable, contact info@bumpstylebox.com or call 866-529-6331 for instructions.

I love an item, but it is too big/small.

If there is an item in your BUMPstyle Box that you love, but you need a different size, you can ask your BUMPstylist if the item is available in the size you need. Because we do have such a rapid turnover of our inventory, we cannot guarantee that the exact item will be available in your size.

If your BUMPstylist confirms that the item is in stock in your requested size, return the original item in your box as usual within the 3-day trial period. When we receive your returned box, we will charge you for the correctly sized item and immediately ship the new size to you.

Billing and Checkout

When will my card be charged?

On the day that your box ships, your card will be charged the $30 styling fee.

Once you have shipped your BUMPstyle Box with returns back to us and it has been delivered to our office, you will be charged for the items you chose to keep. If these items total $150 or more, the styling fee will be applied as a credit and deducted from your total purchase cost. If the items you choose to keep total less than $150, or if you return your box in full, the $30 styling fee will not be credited back.

Online order completion

To simplify the checkout process, we recommend that you complete the order completion survey. This survey is accessible through your BUMPstyle Box online account. You are not required to complete the survey to complete your order, but it is extremely helpful to your BUMPstylist when you take the time to provide feedback, and it also expedites the checkout process when we receive your returned box.

Why is there a $30 charge for a styling fee on my card when I have not received my BUMPstyle Box yet?

On the day your box ships, you will be charged a $30 styling fee. If the $30 has not been paid due to a declined or expired credit card, the box can not be shipped to you until the card has been updated and the $30 charge has been completed.

How do I update my card or billing information?

You can update your credit card or other information by logging onto your BUMPstyle Box online account and selecting the “billing” tab. Once in the “billing” tab you will see options for adding a card and editing billing information. Click “save” after making any billing changes to your account to ensure any updates you made have been added to your account.

Can I have more than one card on file?

Yes, you can have more than one card on file. Log into your BUMPstyle Box account and choose the “billing” tab where you can add a card. Once you have added a card, double check which card is set as your default. Whichever card is set as your “default” will be automatically charged for your next box. To change the default selection, click the “edit” option for the card you would like set as your default and choose the “default” setting, then click “save” to ensure the change to default has been made.

Can I change my default credit card once my box has shipped?

Yes, you can change your default credit card once your BUMPstyle Box has shipped, but your $30 styling fee will have already been charged to your original card on the day that your box shipped. Once your box has been returned to our office, the new card will be charged for the items you chose to keep, minus the $30 styling fee if the items you kept totaled more than $150.

Can I pay with more than one credit card?

Yes. You will need to save both cards on file in your online account and make the arrangements with your BUMPstylist prior to returning the box.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. You will receive a receipt via email. You will also be able to access all past receipts on your account dashboard.

How do I view my past orders/receipts?

You can view your past orders by logging onto your BUMPstyle Box account dashboard and selecting “View Order History.”

Gift Cards and Credits

Purchasing a gift card

Visit the gift card page you purchase a gift card. You can purchase a gift card either for yourself of for someone else by entering their email address on the checkout page. All gift card purchases are non-refundable.

How does my recipient receive their gift card?

Your recipient will receive their gift card via email.

How do I use promotional codes

Gift card codes will be automatically assigned to your account or the account of the recipient. On the cart page, you will have the option to apply gift cards either by clicking on them or entering their code.

How do I check my gift card balance?

To check your balance, log into your account. All of you gift card balances will be available there.

Referrals

How do I refer friends?

Each user has their own unique url to share with friends. When a friend signs up after clicking on your link, you will receive store credit. To find your url, log into your account dashboard.

Do I receive a credit for referring friends?

Yes. After your referral makes their first purchase, you will receive a $30 store credit.

How do I check on my referral credits?

You will receive a coupon automatically associated with your account.

Can I apply my referral credits to my styling fee?

The referral credit acts the same as a gift card.
